Musical Theatre West has created quite the reputation as the premiere performing arts group in the area, in past seasons landing many first run shows. Queer-fave shows are often staged, including Rent and Little Shop of Horrors. Check the group’s website as some runs are held at larger venues.

Always top-notch
I have seen many many productions by MTW, and I tell you that there is little reason to watch any other group, regional or national, perform on the stage. Typing on this phone is a pain, so I will just say A on all sets, costumes, acting, singing, and direction that I have ever seen from them. Top top full "official" broadway quality here. The venue that they use, Carpenter Performing Arts, is wonderful. Big huge stage with a good medium auditorium - every seat is a great seat. Bravi!
