Standing alone as the only American museum featuring contemporary glass art, and one of only three on Earth with such a focus, the Glass Museum is a fascinating glimpse into the entire process of constructing such intricate art. Watch glass artists live at work in the "hot shop" amphitheater located in the metal-clad cone attached to the museum. The crown jewel, however, is undoubtedly the Chihuly Bridge of Glass linking the waterfront Museum of Glass to other museums including the Washington State History Museum and the Tacoma Art Museum.
