This place has been her for ever and looks like it ... nice staff ... if they know you.
OK once in awhile......
Not as bad as the Brit. It's a locals' bar, and once you've encountered the locals, you might want to go to West Hollywood. Mineshaft's a throwback to the 80's, and sadly, its time has passed. One or two good bartenders. The rest? Meh.
Where is everyone at?
On a trip to Long Beach a number of years ago this seemed to be the most popular bar in town, it was packed but we stopped in on Monday and it was just the bartender and on Wednesday just a handful of guys. Very casual, reasonable price on the drinks and could be fun with the right crowd.
