I Was Welcomed, Even If I'm From Out of Town
Very positive vibe from everyone here - you can tell all were having a great time. I enjoyed the company of all who were willing to converse. Not pretentious in the least.
Same old crowd but I love them...
This bar is nice .. and the owner is as well (straight but VERY gay friendly)((the same owner as the SweetWater just down the street)). Older crowd but nice staff and great drinks and cheep prices ... Lots of fun 1/2 drunk people ... it is a stop in bar for a few shots and then head down the street .... Randy (the manager) does his best too keep it going ... still (After 3 years no AC that works) ... :)
Good neighborhood bar
This is a true neighborhood bar, depending on what night you come, the crowds can be thin or large and rowdy. Its a fun place, the people are friendly and always willing to chat you up. This is a place where you leave you attitude at the door if you want to have fun, its unpretentious, down to earth people who don't take themselves to seriously. Ernie is a great friend from the Circus Disco days and it was a surporise the first time we ran into him here as a bartender, he is a great guy and will make you feel at home. Karaoke is a big thing here, lots of people participate. They throw great Halloween parties here. There is a parking lot behind, good thing cause parking in Long Beach can be a bitch.
