1 year ago I want to complain directly about a “security” guard who is very rude, last night he kicked me out of the bar for just standing at the bar and before me I saw how he kicked out another person being in the same place as me and it is not the first time he does this, last night he was very violent, he raised my arms to my head and hit my stomach and now it hurts, in particular he is either jealous of my favorite bartender “Mario” I think that is his name or he is simply a man eager to be rude and looks for something to do, I need you to find out about this “security guard” why he is so violent being a bar with a spectacular energy that no other bar has in West Hollywood. The guard is a fat black man how do you point him out to recognize him Only the security is very violent, the rest is spectacular beware of the fat black guard
A local fixture, always good.
If you are looking for a solid local bar, with cheap drinks, friendly people, and good billiards tables, you've found it. Trunks is always a good time - it's just never a great time. It has historically been a starting and/or ending location to a night, and is perfect at what it is.

This bar is a friendly place with really good drinks. Fun at the front window where non-smokers are inside and smokers on the outside. Great way to spend the night together. Close to other bars to if you feel the need to explore others.

I went in on a busy'ish Sunday nite in May 2010 - sorry I dont agree with the other reviews - the bar staff were polite but looked bored/tired, the floor was dirty with napkins & rubbish, it just didn't feel a nice place to be in. As a tourist not a regular first impressions count...
Great Place!
Everyone is really friendly and the drinks are cheap, so I can't really ask for much more! When I go out, I like to make new friends so if that's what you are looking for this place is great. If you are a stuck up bitchy queen that thinks you are the greatest living creature ever this place isn't probably for you. * * *
