1 year ago I was denied entry. All I have to say is I’m a man of color visiting for the first time and walked up upon being dropped off from my uber who hinted there are other bars in the vicinity. I threw away my coffee cup with a lid and I was engaging with security and he said he needed to check my fanny pack and the guy next to him stopped him to say he can’t come in as I threw away a coffee cup in their trash bin outside. I said I’m confused, it’s a coffee cup and he assumed it was alcohol. I advised I am visiting for the first time did I break a law? He said yes you can’t walk up to a bar already drinking. I said wow. So I walked across the steeet to the next bar to find out I was also banned by them. So it seems very racial to the point Badlands decided to let me in before I got in my uber back to my hotel to ignore this city as they first shared they have already been “radioed” so I can’t come in.

Over a year ago Used to go there a long time ago and loved it, and went a few weeks ago. Clientele was really dismissive in their own world. Felt like we old but not so old dudes were made fun of by some of the girl clientele. Karaoke was very macho straight and aggressive. The staff were nice enough, even after the burnt plastic taste in the bottled Stella (and they exchanged with no hesitation). If you are Latino, Latino straight or girl who grinds it, young and fluent in Spanish you will fit in here now.

Over a year ago They took my id away and thought it wasnt me cause it was a florida id. And wanted me to find myself a cop to get it back. Never going back there, and don't recommend too.
