Two levels, big-screen TVs, and a great outdoor patio make this a fantastic place to watch the game or grab food and drinks. It's a bit of a walk from the gay hood, but well worth the trip. Watch from the big windows as boys and girls pull up in cabs by the dozen. Trivia night, drag bingo, brunch buffet, poker tournaments, and summer movies on the roof.

Not for gays anymore
Mixed gay/straight crowd? WHERE? All we saw were a bunch of college-age straight drunks. This is NOT a gay bar/establishment. If it use to be, it’s not anymore. We left after 5 minutes. Never again.
Over a year ago Bad music
Over a year ago I don't know what happened to this place. They say the Roman Holy Empire was neither Roman, nor Holy, nor an Empire. This place is neither gay nor a sports bar anymore. I went on a Saturday night, and it was full of the same drunk college kids that now infest all the bars in the U St corridor. So sad. This place used to be a fun, laidback bar for gays of all ages--not any more. - ewww - rowdy
Over a year ago Fun little bar, go up stairs to enjoy the awesome weather with your mates.
