Southern Nights Orlando Formerly: Revolution Nightclub

1 year ago This used to be a really good club, my favorite actually. But since Orlando’s population has exploded, they no longer offer any free parking and if you park in areas around the club where they don’t charge for parking you’re likely to have your car towed or ticketed costing you anywhere from $135-$150. And even worse, the music has gone from top 40 pop rock and rave music to ghetto music. It’s not my favorite club anymore at all; it’s really sad to see things change so drastically. - low-key vibe

Over a year ago Southern Nights Orlando has 3 bars, one in front and 2 in the back, flanking a sunken dance floor. On either side of the front bar are settee benches. In the back and to the right is an open air smoking area with a DJ booth. All this surrounds an enclosed mini-theater (for drag shows?) It was not in use. When I was there on the night of Nov. 2nd, 2023 ("college night") there was a mixed crowd and a kicking sound system, but not many college guys, or other patrons for that matter. I paid $5 for the cover charge and had to be wanded by the security QT (a good thing after Pulse.) I paid $22 for "all you can drink" night so I am unable to give my usual "rum and coke" index here. The negatives were: 1. no go- go boys, and 2. one of the bartenders made a rude gesture at me after I tipped him $2. I am not sure if I would go back. - low-key vibe

The Worst Place I Ever Been … False Advertisement

I was there with my friend, he came to visit from Puerto Rico and we check Revolution website and they advertise $3.00 Coronas and some other drinks"$3 Long Islands, Coronas and Sex on the Beach Shots" so we got there arround 11:00pm we went to see the show, we order some drinks at the theater bar and the bartender charge us $5.00 for coronas and $9.00 for the other drinks..Ok it happens, so we went to the other side of the bar and I order another round she charge us $5.00 for coronas and $9.00 dollars for the other drinks..uhmm no good I Said!! so we order at the front bar and again $5.00 for coronas and $7.00 dlls for the other drinks and then I order a shot from special menu that they had at the counter and said $3.00 dlls and the bartender charge me $6.00 dlls..So!! what's going on here avery body is charging what ever they want and why they advertise something that they not going to honor...that place is ridiculous. very trashy place!!! * * *
