Neve experienced gridlock in a bar before
I went there a few times with a couple of friends, and each time, it was so crowded you could barely move. You can't go anywhere without feeling like a sardine, a trip to the bar just to order a drink could take up to ten minutes, and God help you if you have to go to the bathroom. That aside, it's a nice place, with some great looking guys. Just brace yourself if you go on a weekend.
Friendly Crowd
Was approached by a few patrons and made to feel welcomed even by types that I usually don't get that from. This is easily the friendliest bar in Atlanta.
Fun, unpretentious, bearish bar
Good mix of friendly people, unpretentious place
Hipster bar in the alternative part of town
It is part video bar. Part neighborhood bar. Part hipster bar. Small bar in a cool part of town. It is probably not a place to hit if you are from out of town because it s off the beaten path, but its kakaoke night is the most fun. Since the bar is small, when it gets packed.. watch out for wondering hands ;-). If there is a downside, it is a very smoke bar ( but it is Atlanta, and we don't have the guts yet to ban it )
hole in the wall, but in the best kind of way
Always a lot of fun, theme nights vary during the week. Great music and dancing on Fri and Sat. The Boozy Cougar (upstairs) is a little less crowded and you can watch the shenanigans below. Very varied crowd - hipsters, preps, daddies, twinks. No pretense, which is very refreshing for a gay bar. Come as you are! My favorite bar in the ATL. * * *
