My friend poodle loves Buddies Coral so much that sometimes I wonder if I will have to pry his cold dead hands from the bar just to try someplace else. It seems to be enjoyable and open to EVERYONE!

one word to describe this place BORING

been in it about 5X and never again rakew nover by str8ties as well. i think it'sa conspiracy that str8ts are taking over gay places to boot us gay etc. out of the scene... If i opened up a gay bar it would be gays only no str8ta allowed it's bad enuf i have to live around them but to go out and be around them is intolorable...but buddies is a hole in the wall and the service from barteneds goes down hill as more patrons come in... anything for money instead of treating ur regs with respect... i haven't steped foot in either of those 2 places since 2007 and never will.. i don't party anymore in po dunk DSM at all because of the BS.. and to much clickyness there.. and no one is nice... and it too smells like BAD BO...even with doors open up..

Fun Place

I had a great time, friendly place. Prices great, relaxed easy going crowd with enough of a buzz and laughter to stroke my interest. Karoke brings a lot of people out lots of laughs. Would drop in any time I am in Des Moines. * * *
