It's a great place to go and have conversations and fun. Mixed crowd. It's one of my favorite places.

Ok place, scary scary neighborhood! Omg!

Place was not crowded and silently quiet, which was little awkward? Older crowd, or younger loud ones here and there from what we saw. Could be nice but there were like crackbeggars waiting at our car.. They need to do something. Hope they can fix it.

Great Bar

Nice, clean and up to date. Bartendars remember your name and what you drink.

Upscale Dive is Perfect

Love my J's. Great place to start the night or to keep a low key, relaxed late night outing. Ignore the ranting gossip reviews. Anyone who tries to stir up drama between the bars is bad for everyone in the community.

Ugh!

I don't like large bars because I prefer to mingle meaningfully and hear the people I talk to, so I was going to J's for a while after trying Rain (way to much hype about this place, expensive and no performance) and The Store (mostly women and RUDE). One of the owners (old guy with grey hair) was so terrible rude to our group! He seemed not able to be bothered to wait on us because he was busy with his clique. We were a group of 6 people and there wasn't even a table we could all sit at together, but that was the least of our worries, though we did get yelled at for moving a table to accommodate us all. We all had 2 drinks (on my credit card bill), so that makes 12, right? When I went to sign my receipt it was $90.00 and very obviously padded! I had heard this about J's before but didn't pay attention. I should have! When I complained and asked to see the written bill the owner said I was disrupting his business and asked me to keep my voice down, sign my bill and leave! BEWARE, if you go there, ask prices and keep your own bill so you have a leg to stand on and don't use a credit card!!!
