About
Piranha is a multi-room dance club near the Strip in the "Fruit Loop" area. Usually crowded, you can watch the go-go boys from the 2nd floor balconies. Be warned, there are always lines on the weekends.

5 months ago I went on a Saturday night and was shocked by the door policy. They charged $20 just to enter if you do not have a Nevada driver’s license, but only $10 if you do. That kind of pricing feels excessive and honestly predatory. This is a nightclub where people are obviously going to spend money inside on drinks. Charging an inflated entry fee on top of that comes across less as crowd control and more like exploiting visitors. I was so disappointed that I turned around and left without going in. There are plenty of venues in Las Vegas that manage crowds without pricing people out at the door. I will not be coming back under this policy. - total dive
The New "It" Gay Bar in Vegas! :)
This club across from Gypsy (or where Gypsy used to be) is like three clubs in one. A "top-40 music" club is in the front with traditional pub-like decor and a large rectangular bar with video screens above. There is a small dance floor and lounge area, and VIP seating is on one side. They have added a small bar beyond this and a larger bar beyond that. Off to the left is an outside area with tables which is also new. In the rear (beyond a big fish tank) is a glitzy futuristic-disco type club playing techno / house music. A long bar is along one wall and a small stage is in the back beyond the dance floor. Above this area is a circular loft which is the VIP area, with lots of booths and a small bar (with top shelf prices--bring your money!) To the right of the building is an outside patio area ending in the courtyard-like reception area in the front. I was there in the wee hours of 7/30/22 and there was a mixed crowd. The bartenders were friendly and not bad looking. The go-go guys were nice and were a variety of types but all were muscular. The cover was $20 and I paid $12 for a rum and coke. I will definitely be back next time I'm in Vegas. - awesome music - easy parking - long lines
Rude Staff!
The front staff told me when I arrived that because I wasn’t local I must pay an entrance fee. When expressing that it didn’t seem fair playfully to the ID checker he immediately said “You don’t need to come here” so I spent about $500 that night at the other two clubs instead. Short black dude needs an attitude change. He’s causing this facility business.
Over a year ago Piranha is a gay club in Las Vegas. Piranha gets busy after Midnight and stays open late. Its nondescript building hides whats inside. After you get through the intense security (pat down and metal detector), the front door opens to the dance floor. Behind the dance floor is a bar. The look of Piranha on the inside reminds me of a cave. On the main dance floor there are a few places for people to enjoy bottle service which you have to reserve. Keep walking through a hallway to the back and you enter a second dance floor with another bar. The night I went the front dance floor had dance music and the back room had latin music. I didn't see many people dancing in either room. They did have gogo boys and girls that came out, but again I didn't see many people engaging with them. The bartenders were a mix of shirtless men and women who all were strait. I came here on a Sunday night. My biggest issue with Piranha is the drink prices. They are the same prices you will pay on the strip for a standard well cocktail. Maybe they could offer drink specials on slower nights to bring in more people. - awesome music - easy parking - swanky
Awesome Club
Drinks were a little on the pricey side but the entertainment and music made up for it. I will definitely be back! * * *
