Once a crowded nightclub, Henrietta Hudson is now a moody wine bar with specialty cocktails, charcuterie and cheese pairings. Its newly updated interior nods to a midcentury-modern feel typical of any trendy, upscale space in Manhattan. A cross between a living room and a petite cafe, its new look features comfy armchairs, plush ottomans, work nooks, and a social gathering area for community events.

Lisa kicked off her lesbian fame as her photo was published in New York Magazine's 1993 "lesbian chic" issue. From corporate America over to the lesbian bar culture, Lisa transitioned as she covered all job positions @ Henrietta's from a $30 bar back to an owner and operator. Lisa is responsible for creating m of the advertisements, photography and marketing for NYC's #1 lesbian bar. Lisa is a proud manager of the ongoing incredible Henrietta staff and personal winner of many GO Magazine Reader's Choice Awards most notably, Best Bartender and Saturday Night DJ. Lisa believes and instills in "creating memories" at Henrietta's. Lisa is also a clear role model and example of self-pride, confidence and leadership. Lisa says whole heartily, "self-love and acceptance are critical to one's own growth as a person and therefore one's contribution to the world".

Poor music selection
The DJ only played reggaeton all night. I've been to Henrietta's several times,the djs usually mix reggae,hip pop & house music. I was highly disappointed,won't be going back.

I love Hens, however it is not keeping up with the times. They have to do better. They should start getting some fresh dj's rotating, their Saturday consistent Dj isn't good at all. They got rid of the ONE hot bartenders. Not one employee could be considered eye candy now that Krys is gone. The drinks are good, Friday nights the music is a lot better than Saturday nights. They always have a crowd but I think if they catch up to the times they will do much better. It's one of the only places that is for Lesbains 24/7. Let's not let it fade out by improper managing.
Fun hang-out
My girl and I stopped in for a drink before the Madonna concert and didn't want to leave but hey, we were going to see Madonna! Nice clean atmosphere and the Bartender was really cool!
