“Local Stop for Happy Hour and Party Later”
Music Box is located at the 74th Street Subway Station in Queens where the 7, R, M, E and F trains converge. Traveling from Manhattan is straightforward and worth it for happy hour. Happy hour attracts locals seeking reasonably priced drinks. A diverse crowd shows up from around 5 to 9 PM while heading home from work. It's simple to meet and chat more personally with new acquaintances. The neighborhood is largely Hispanic, and later on it becomes party time for everyone. In my view, prices become too high for a local hangout after that.

“A true MIX that works!”
I've visited a few times, and there's something unique and comfortable about the place, an atmosphere that clicks. It was genuinely a mix of very diverse people from all backgrounds and orientations who got along and had a great time. It's definitely better than the typical seedy gay bars you often find. Also, the bartenders are attractive and friendly.

“Expensive”
The drinks are too expensive for the area, but otherwise this is a great spot.
