Over a year ago This bar epitomizes the Rochester gay bar scene: friendly (if slow) bartenders, cheap strong drinks, diverse crowd of all ages. I was in Rochester for a conference and came here every night. It can be loud during karaoke night, but otherwise it's a very laidback, friendly place.
Great place, Always
Been dropping in at the Forum since back in the 80's ! Always a great mix of people and friendly.
low key, but still the busiest place in rochester to hang out
Decent place. Can be quiet. Most lively on sunny weekends when people sit out front or across the street on the patio in front of Starry Nights cafe.

I've always loved the Forum, its mostly a guys bar, but everyone is themselves, not some plastic carbon copy of what people think is popular, also not near as cliquey as other bars, its a place where everyone feels welcome no matter what age you are...the average patron is in middle age or older, but they make you feel welcome no matter what your age is, as long as your at least 21!
