Disappointing and Low Class...
I am from Santa Fe and was in town visiting friends and heard so much about Club 212 and how great it was...Wow, was that the furthest thing from the truth. The doorman was very friendly and engaging and that's where anything positive ended. The bartender was some obese transgender (transvestitie?) She/he was very rude and loud. I was waiting on my friends to arrive and in that time, not one person talked to me, smiled nothing! The drinks were watered down and made with cheap liquor. When my friends arrived, we left and went to a private party. I will never visit this place again. I was very disappointed. Low class all the way. I feel sorry for Amarillo if this is all you have to offer in the gay bar dept.

If you want to go where no one will talk to you and give you shitty looks then this is your bar! No one talks to you unless you know someone and everyone gave me dirty looks the entire time. I will never go here again. Way to make a paying customer feel like complete shit. Also the drag shows here suck ass!! Raquel is the only good performer they have and she doesnt even do Sundays anymore. Sundays are ran by a toothless queen that smells and another that just talks way too much and is a hot mess that has been there for years. Its time for her to retire those heels!! 212 needs alot of help!!
Large bar, but not friendly clientele...
People here all seem to know each other and no one really talked to strangers, except for the really hot door guy who tried to pick me up. It was a Saturday night and the crowd didn't start coming in until almost 10pm. By 11:30 it was pretty packed. Drink prices are reasonable but again, just a so so, hum drum kind of vibe.
