Great place and very accepting!
By far Cavens best bar! I am trans but the ladies & gentlemen are very pleasant, welcoming and polite and they play good music you don't have the attitude like at S4 & JR's! This is by far Oaklawns best, in my opinion"!
Another Caven Screwup
Caven, in thier infinite stupidity, took thier best club in Dallas, TMC operating in this location and traded places with Sue Ellens. This was incredibly stupid because it pretty much killed both businesses. TMC was doing fantastic and a great place to go. Meanwhile the Lesbians were right at home with live bands out on the patio wearing old tennis shoes and drinking beer. The gays hate TMC in the old Sue Ellen's location and vice versa for the Lesbians now housed in a modern gay boy dance club. This with the S4 disaster, makes 3 unbelievable screw ups by Caven Enterprises. But what can you expect from a Straight owned and operated business which only owns gay bars? Its very sad for the gay community in Dallas.
NOLA Loves SueEllens
Every time we come to Dallas, well, we come to Sue Ellens and have a great time. New Orleans doesn't have anything like this for women; they do have about 13 clubs for men (or sort of mixed), but nothing like Sue Ellens. The manager is great and friendly to out of town guests - which is really appreciated. See you soon.
