10 months ago All of the previous reviews are referring to a bar that doesn’t exist anymore. This is a piano bar that is gay-owned very popular with the music-lovers as well as cruise ship visitors. - awesome music - cute bartenders - fun crowd - great happy hour - strong drinks - low-key vibe
A local bar for local people.....
This is is a tired, scruffy, & sad, bring your own bottle bar. Nothing to offer visitors. Would have been dated in the 70's
AVOID THIS BAR...
People... out of the 4 gay bars on the island, I would rank it dead last in class. Its a B.Y.O.B gay bar adjacent to a convenient store and child day care in a shopping strip. The parking lot has drug raids all the time, it is quite the crack head hang out. Being BYOB brings a frugal clientele as well as people with not a cent to their name. Never a good thing. Hustlers are bound to hit you up. Am I bitter? Perhaps just a little. I prefer a classier group. Third Coast, Stars and Roberts Lafitte are much nicer hangouts.... Enjoy your stay in Galveston just avoid this bar at all cost. For your safety.

Nice view
It's an alright bar. Best thing about it, probably, is the view of the ocean since it's on Seawall Blvd. Not a pretty crowd, and not much goin' on, but good to get a drink when you've had enough of the nasty Galveston beaches.
