Over a year ago Barcode is the default gay bar in Richmond. Happy hour gets a local crowd, and late night is usually a much younger, more urban crowd. The drinks are nice, the staff friendly - great happy hour
The Staple of Gay Richmond!
LOVE Barcode. Everyone from the Management down, are delightful and accommodating, and the crowd stimulating. The food is no average 'bar food' by ANY standard, but well prepared and healthy portions as well. You CANNOT find a better drink in Richmond for the price, ANYWHERE! The only thing missing is a dance-floor.

I got here at 1:25. They claim to be open until 2. Bartender wouldn't serve me, or anyone else. Maybe change your signage to reflect what you're actually doing. If you're open until 2, you typically serve until 1:45 and then close the doors at 2. But I guess the staff wanted to go home.
