Great Friendly Hotel
This is a great hotel located on Mission Bay and bout 5-10 minutes from Hilcrest. Many of their rooms open directly onto a private beach with a ton of free beach cabana like chairs that are great to work on that tan from. Rooms are newly renovated and in line with any top line 4 star resort. They have boat rentals at the hotel and you can walk to a ton of restaurants and bars from the hotel. This is definitely the hotel to stay at if you want to be near it all and get some beach time in.
A Fabulous Beach Resort in San Diego
My boyfriend and I spend a great weekend here and found the hotel to be very gay friendly. It is apparent that there is a little of the family in the managment. It has a great location ( one block from the beach) and had a private beach on the Bay. We rented a kayak for the afternnon and it was a great workout and the bay is amazing. We called and they gave us a free upgrade to a \\"Studio\\" that had a full kitchen in it. We were able to stock up on wine and food so we did not have to dine out every day. The hotel is about 5 minutes to Hilcrest where the gay bars are. If you want to see and feel like you are in San Diego THIS is the place to be.
