Very disappointing

The location is really the only thing we liked about the place. We had absolutely no housekeeping services for the whole four days we were there. The maid didn’t seem to speak English and she was there for a couple hours each day but she never offered to replace our towels or replenish the coffee. We saw her clean other rooms but she never entered ours. We were directed to the closet by the back stairs for supplies where we got toilet paper (there were no back up rolls,) towels and coffee. The WiFi was fine at the pool but didn’t reach the building we were in. There was no ice machine so we were unable to ice the beer we brought with us and we couldn’t make cocktails either. The mini fridge was full of the stuff they wanted to charge us $3 a piece for so that was useless as well. The grounds were not well maintained and there were fans scattered throughout the property making it difficult to navigate through the maze. The steps are rotting and uneven so it’s easy to trip and hurt yourself. We are really not demanding but even the cheapest accommodations offer better service. For what we paid, ($200 per night)we could have and should have received a significantly better experience. There are too many other options, we’ll find some place else next time.
