Over a year ago You couldn't find a better location. This hotel is literally right in the heart of the French Quarter, but it's along a quieter street, so it's not too crazy or noisy. Still, you can walk everywhere. Also, the restaurant downstairs in amazing. Great good and service and an awesome drink menu that changes almost every month. - close to everything - cool lobby - try the restaurant - upscale/trendy
decent hotel but noisy
Hotel is nice. Nice courtyard, but rooms are not well insulated. First night we heard conversation from next door that turned into a VERY loud tyrant. We heard conversations from the pool 3 floors below as well as every person who passed through the hall. Staff is very nice, but not as knowledgeable as we expected.

I like the W concept, but its execution varies widely depending on each operation. This one has a decent location, but it's a little worn out. Staff is nice, but not as knowledgeable as I expected. Myroom was billed as "overlooking courtyard," but I actually overlooked air conditioning units. Gay friendly. Pool is nice. Bar/restaurant is pretty good.
