the best christmas ever
a few years ago I showed up at the white gate inn the day before christmas eve and asked if there was any room in the inn . the owners told me that they had a room and then they told me the price. I could not afford the price but they took me in any way and out the greatness of thier hearts and also "i de clairs" ( thier great little dog) they gave me and taught me what christmas was about. I left on christmas day and when I returned to my room from breakfast they had place a christmas orinimate on my bed. It was a hand painted orinimate. I put it on my tree every year and smile because there was room in the inn for me on a very lonely christmas made better by two wonderful men. thanks again
