late night drive turns out all right

People were nice enough but you could tell that my boyfriend and I stood out. Otherwise nice hotel, pretty clean, prompt room service.would come back.

Literally in center of city

One of the first mainstream major brand hotels to locate uptown, it is center of city, in fact on the corner of Trade and Tryon the two main streets uptown Charlotte. Very close to Museums and Discovery Place, across the street from B of A's corporate headquarters and the Blumenthal Performing arts center. Rooms were very nice and in tune with Marriott brand. Parking was convenient, self parking is $12/day and valet $18. Hotel has 438 rooms so it is a good sized hotel in a very beautiful city.
