Amazing room and views. Awesome staff.

Great location

This is a very nice hotel. The staff is exceptional. The room was spacious and clean. I didn't like it that at 2 different times, housekeeping knocked and was opening my door before I had a chance to tell them to pass. If you are driving, there is valet service ONLY. It's close to the heart of Gay Dallas so you can walk to many bars and restaurants.

Nice hotel and Close to Strip

This is a great hotel, friendly staff and nice restaurants all within walking distance of the popular gay strip. It is also close to downtown with it just being a 8$ cab ride away!

Shabbaceous Chic

A wonderful hotel to stay in, and fantastic service, from the moment you step out of your car, checking in, to the room, the bars, and the staff. The interior has a great 19th century Americana feel, from the brass "mail" chutes, to the elevators with rich marbles. Unfortunately, what would make it a great hotel would be a revamp - the hallways, rooms, furniture, and so on are slightly shabby, and not in a chic way - just worn. Not uncomfortably, and certainly not in a way that would make you walk out, but for the price level, this hotel is competing with the (newly refurbished) Intercontinental, upper-end Hilton, and upper-end Marriott chains, and it doesn't bear the comparison well. Very good location to get to from the freeway, minutes away from the Dallas Gold's Gym (by car), and walking distance to a lot of bars and restaurants in the center of the gay main street. * * *
