Great drinks!

A great place to go on a lazy afternoon. Enjoy a Pimms Cup and some plates for sharing. I've never met a cheese plate I didn't like, and this is no exception. The Courtyard is cozy too, just too hot if the weather is humid. Awesome atmosphere!

Dine at House prepared for Napoleon's exile in1797

When you step through the doors here, you are stepping through time back to Paris of the late 1700's. Seriously. The Napoleon House is a restaurant/bar/bistro/cafe all in one. Famous for their old-world atmosphere, classical music, and chess players-- and their great bistro food and sandwiches, such as the New Orleans Italian classic Muffuletta sandwich made with ham, Genoa salami, pastrami, swiss cheese, provolone cheese and housemade Italian olive salad-- this place is practically a must. Lunch and dinner-- open late except Mondays (close at 5pm) and closed Sundays. (Oh, Napoleon never actually made it to his exile here. He died in 1821 three days before he was to sail. Stop at the nearby Cabildo and see his death mask,)
