About
Ok, you're in Buffalo, so under no circumstances are you to call them buffalo wings. Wings. Just wings. You have to eat them while you are in Buffalo and this is the place that made them famous.
From the Owner
The current Owner/Manger is Ivano Toscani.
Anchor Bar's story began in 1964 in Buffalo, New York, when Teressa Bellissimo accidentally created the first Buffalo Chicken Wing by deep frying the chicken wings and tossing them in a secret sauce. Since then, Anchor Bar has become a globally recognized sensation, earning the James Beard Foundation's America's Classics Award in 2003. This Anchor Bar Location is designed as a destination for all sports fans to watch their favorite sport on multiple screen TV's.

I don't like this
Not clean, not convenient and you can find as good or better wings in many places. Skip it.
The original
If you're visiting Buffalo, you probably need to go here for chicken wings because, hey, they invented them. But any pub in Buffalo serves up wings that are likely just as good.
