It's also fabulous for unique gifts, containing everything from handcrafted toys to quirky candles to seaside souvenirs. Fun House also makes a point to include the work of local artists, featuring their designs prominently in-store.

From the Owner

Relocating to Asbury Park from New York City, partners Scott & Gene have long had an interest in design. Scott worked for over a decade in Europe in the fashion industry and Gene has had his own print business for more that 30 years. Gene has printed fabric for interior designers, costumes for many Broadway shows, & the Rockettes. They have joined their talents and their passions into creating a fun shopping experience at both Shelter Home locations.

Alessi, Joseph Joseph, Oxo, Chilewich, Dash and Albert, Jonathan Adler, John Derian, Areaware, Kidrobot, Tokidoki... Practical yet Cool Kitchenware, Unusual Gifts, Modern Furniture (namely Gus Modern & Blu Dot), Rugs, and Asbury Park memorabilia with a satellite store in Convention Hall on the Asbury Park boardwalk.
