About

You don't need to be a collector to enjoy the crisp, clean aesthetic of Agora's space. This is a great spot to hit up on a walking tour of Chelsea.

From the Owner

Angela Di Bello, Gallery Director, brings to Agora Gallery over 25 years of experience in the New York art market, as a private and corporate fine art consultant and as a fine art administrator; representing artists and placing their work with many Fortune 500 companies including AT&T, British Airways, The Federal Reserve Bank of NY, and Pfizer Corp Inc, as well as prominent private art collections. As the director of the prestigious Gallery at Lincoln Center, Ms. Di Bello was instrumental in developing the careers of numerous artists, placing paintings, sculpture, and photography with significant collectors. While at Lincoln Center, she also established the Metropolitan Opera Guild Print Program.

Agora Gallery is a fine art gallery, established in 1984 and located in the heart of New York City's Chelsea art gallery district. It specializes in promoting talented artists from around the world and around the corner, while providing a venue of high quality original fine art to accommodate every budget. At Agora Gallery we are passionate about the discovery of new talent and believe that every artist has a bit of genius to share with the world. Gallery representation is offered to talented artists at every stage of their career, who benefit from showing their work in this vibrant area of the art world and from the PR campaigns carried out by our experienced team. Acceptance is granted only to those whose work qualifies, on the basis of a portfolio review carried out by Agora Gallery. The gallery publishes ARTisSpectrum Magazine, a bi-annual magazine that is distributed to museums, galleries, art institutions and art schools around the world and is the proud sponsor of ARTmine, one of the most comprehensive resources available worldwide to view and purchase fine art.

Glamorous Gallery

A wonderful way to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. I ducked into this gallery on a rainy day and was not sorry, the art was full of passion and beauty.
