Reviews call this Broadway house a classic midtown spot, and its history backs that up. Designed by Herbert J. Krapp, the Eugene O'Neill Theatre opened in 1925 as part of a theater-hotel complex named for tragedian Edwin Forrest. It later became the Coronet before being renamed for playwright Eugene O'Neill in 1959. Neil Simon once owned it. This Jujamcyn venue recently hosted The Book of Mormon, Fela!, and Sweeney Todd.
