In its exhibitions and educational programs, the Museum celebrates the creative process through which materials are crafted into works that enhance contemporary life.

The Museum of Arts and Design welcomes everyone to see the world through the eyes of an artist. We are located in the heart of New York City, right on Columbus Circle and just steps from Central Park and Times Square. From the provocative to the popular, surprising, thought-provoking works of art and design are always on view, many of them carefully crafted by hand. At MAD, the creative process is an up close and personal experience.
