The Museum of Broadway is the world's first permanent museum dedicated to the history of Broadway, founded in 2022 by Tony Award winning producer Julie Boardman and experiential producer Diane Nicoletti. This female-founded museum spans three floors in Times Square, featuring over 500 productions through immersive exhibits that let you step into sets from shows like Oklahoma!, West Side Story, and Rent, alongside costumes and props from Hamilton, Phantom of the Opera, and more. It's a family-friendly, all-ages attraction that blends education with entertainment.

You'll explore interactive displays that trace Broadway from 1732 to today, and even learn how a show is made from conception to curtain call with insights from Broadway icons. The current special exhibit, Rockettes 100: A Century of Sisterhood, runs through January 5th, featuring costumes from the Christmas Spectacular. Timed entry tickets are required, with last entry 90 minutes before closing. Free lockers and wifi are available. It's worth noting that you can also visit the nearby American Museum of Natural History for a different cultural experience.
