From the Owner

I grew up in California a huge fan of Broadway, performing every chance I could. For my 10th birthday my parents took me to NYC to see my first Broadway show. The Museum of Broadway is the place I wish existed back then. To think that myself & my friend, Diane Nicoletti, created the first permanent museum in the history of Broadway is pretty humbling. It is a place that should exist, and it’s shocking it didn’t…until now. We take you through the history of Broadway & backstage to learn how shows are made. Over 3 floors, you’ll see costumes, models & artifacts up close and learn how the art form developed. We took an experiential approach to the storytelling, so instead of just looking at artifacts you’ll also be immersed in the shows - in Oklahoma! you’re in a cornfield, in West Side Story we recreated Doc’s Drug Store, in Rent you’re in the East Village but surrounded by costumes - we collaborated with artists from all over the world to create the museum. Hope you enjoy!

The Museum of Broadway is now open in Times Square and is perfect for all ages! Come discover the magic of Broadway and explore three floors of dazzling costumes and props from your all-time favorite shows like Hamilton, The Phantom of the Opera, Rent, Wicked and more! It is the only place you can get up-close with Broadway’s history from 1732 to present day, and learn how a show is made from Broadway’s biggest icons! It’s a front-row seat and a backstage pass all in one! Special exhibit through January 5th - Rockettes 100: A Century of Sisterhood. Get a first-hand look at costumes over the years designed by legendary award-winning Broadway costume designers and step into the whimsical world of Christmas Spectacular for an immersive photo op alongside the famed Toy Soldiers! Tickets are timed entry. Last entry is 90 minutes prior to closing. We recommend making a reservation in advance by booking tickets directly through our website or onsite. Free lockers are available. Memberships and gift cards available. *Be sure to book directly via our website or onsite to avoid 3rd party fees.*

Over a year ago You could easily spend half a day wandering among the multi-floor exhibits in the heart of Times Square. The museum traces the history of Broadway from its early days to today's hits, with set pieces, costumes, and behind-the-scenes looks at big shows like "Wicked," "Rent," "Phantom of the Opera," and more.
