About

New World Stages doesn't fit the typical Off-Broadway mold. Instead of hosting one show at a time, this Hell's Kitchen venue runs multiple productions simultaneously, letting you catch several plays in one trip. It was built on the site of the third Madison Square Garden, later became a Loews movie theater, and opened as Dodger Stages in 2004 before taking its current name in 2006. The interior design is by Klara Zieglerova.

You'll find the box office open daily, with hours starting at 10am on weekdays and noon on weekends. With 51 photos and solid Yelp reviews, it's a reliable spot for theater in Hell's Kitchen. If you're in the area earlier, you could also explore the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) nearby.
