Local Hispanic Hangout but welcoming to all
Friends is located in a safe and heavily Hispanic neighborhood with a high concentration of Columbians. It seems full of locals who mostly seem to know each other. This is a good thing! I am American born white, not hispanic, but love diversity. Salsa dance music plays constantly and Friends is welcoming to everyone, especially those new to the bar. I always meet someone new and interesting. The place is a party for everyone with both gay and gay friendly men and women joining in. Its a bar you want to spend the whole evening at. Just 5 blocks from 74th street subway station

I love going to Friend's because of loud music and friendly bartenders.

This place has been around forever and I finally decided to go. Boy, am I glad I did. Great little local bar, hot music, and extremely friendly staff! Lots of fun. * * *
