This place sucks

Went in there for a beer, the most unfriendliest place. I have been. I have been in straight bars and been treated better. Very cliquey. Won\`t ever go back.

Best OSU football spot

A great place to watch the OSU football games, free pizza and chili pie at halftime Yummy. Staff is Great

Below Average

This was my first and last time at Slammers, it was average. Bartender was slow and rude. It put me in mind of lesbian's walking into a str8 hilljack bar. Strangers are not welcome!

Competion for Wallstreet?

Slammers is the quintessential bar of what might be a dying breed: the neighborhood dyke bar. Slammers has the uncanny ability to make my allagash conoisseur-self \*crave\* Miller Light. It's small and seldom crowded. There is ample patio seating (including reserved room for cornhole). The juke box fits the atmosphere and the patrons (think Journey and Melissa Etheridge).The drinks are cheap and the bartenders are friendly. On more than one occasion, I have been under the credit card minimum and the bartenders make my drinks on the house. Slammers is perfect for summer nights, especially Tuesday-Thursday. This is a good bar to begin or end a Friday or Saturday evening.
