Shaded by dozens of plants, vines, and greenery, the patio of Ayza will transport you to a Mediterranian sanctuary. With over one hundred different varietals of wine, fine chocolates, and stunning cuisine, this is a little slice of heaven in the middle of the city.

From the Owner

The proprietors, Aytac Nural and Zafer Sevimcok, both have unique backgrounds and experience in the food and wine industry. Zafer Sevimcok: Sevimcok has a degree in journalism and worked at Sabah newspaper, a well renowned Turkish newspaper. While completing the studies, Sevimcok worked in the food service industry as a server and bartender. Some of the establishments Zafer worked at include Diva and Contrapunto. Additionally, approximately ten years ago Sevimcok became an entrepreneur, venturing into the area of fine oriental rugs. Zafer imported antique oriental rugs and had a wide selection for the clientele to choose from. Last eight years Sevimcok has been working with Mr. Nural at AYZA Wine & Chocolate Bar. Nural and Sevimcok have been friends for over 35 years. The two friends contemplated venturing into the food service industry for many years, however, they were waiting for the perfect location, opportunity and timing for Ayza Wine & Chocolate Bar

A Listed !!!

This place was on "A List" & "Match Off". Wine & Chocolate idea was really tempting. The Chocolate Martinis OMG and all those chocolates. Its a small friendly place, you may need to make a reservation. And heard that they are opening a second place in West Village.
