This is the best ramen restaurant globally, hands down my favorite. I've tried many ramen places worldwide, including throughout Japan. The Ippudo location in Tokyo matches this one's quality.

“This place should be on your bucket list”
People who follow trends go to Momofuku; those serious about food go to Ippudo. You can spend $4 on a fancy Starbucks drink any day, but that same $4 is better spent on the incredible pork bun at Ippudo. It's nothing like a typical doughy bun with chewy pork inside. Instead, it's like an Asian-style taco with airy bread wrapped around tender, juicy braised pork. We each had one while waiting 45 minutes at the bar, and they were so amazing we pushed past the models to order more. Absolutely stunning value. Once seated, the experience gets even better. If you have bad memories of ramen from college, this place will change your mind. The soup will never taste the same again. I think they must simmer a hundred ingredients for five days to create the most incredible broth I've had—rich, complex, and nourishing. I wish they could deliver it when I'm sick at home. Every dish we tried was outstanding. We've since recommended it to countless friends visiting New York. This place belongs on your bucket list; it's a must-visit.
