About

Bar: Beer & wineBest nights: Fri, Sat, Sun

A 4/5 rating from 330 Yelp reviews backs up the hype: Gottino Enoteca e Salumeria has been called one of NYC’s finest by The New Yorker, The New York Times, and The Village Voice. It’s a cozy West Village Italian spot that opens for brunch on weekends and stays open until 2am every night. The vibe is intimate and date-friendly, with outdoor seating available and a beer-and-wine-only bar. It’s moderate on price for the neighborhood.

"This small, reasonably priced spot has been praised by The New Yorker, The New York Times, and The Village Voice as one of the city's best."

The staff are easy on the eyes, as one regular put it, and the owner-chef often works the room. Friday through Sunday are the busiest nights. If you want a late Italian bite after a show or a relaxed brunch, this place delivers. It’s a solid stop near other Village favorites like Ippudo , though Gottino’s quieter charm is its own draw.

Gottino is located in the West Village, a historic neighborhood known for its tree-lined streets, brownstones, and lively dining scene.

“Stylish. Sumptuous. Magnificent.”

This small, reasonably priced spot has been praised by The New Yorker, The New York Times, and The Village Voice as one of the city's best. I didn't know that when a close friend took me for brunch here during a work trip, but wow—I could taste why it’s earned such high marks. Every bite was incredible. The chef-owner was very welcoming, and the staff were easy on the eyes. If you're in the West Village, you should definitely stop by. You'll adore it.
