About
Popular, low-key Thai joint in Brooklyn. Don't expect much of a gay scene, but do expect some delicious curry.
From the Owner
Excellent Thai Food in a relaxed setting for the New York audience.
Long before the bustling borough of Brooklyn became the mecca for celebrities, hipsters, and artists alike, Joya's been serving up delicious Thai dishes since 2001 in Cobble Hill. Our unique dining experience and lively ambiance have made us the neighborhood cornerstone for over 15 years. In a city filled with tight spaces, cramped sidewalks, and small apartments, our eatery boasts three roomy areas so you can dine comfortably and among good company. Whether you're in search of nightlife or a classic dish, our urban sanctuary is the place to get a true taste of Brooklyn.

Amazingly Affordable Thai in Cobble Hill
This place keeps getting better and better on subsequent visits. I would give 5 stars, but their mojito this time wasn't quite the right combination of stiff and sweet. We had the duck spring rolls with mango and mustard, beef satay and the special salmon in basil sauce with green beans. OMG the salmon was TOO DIE FOR. I'm still thinking about it. The duck spring roll was also a nice combination of duck, cilantro and dijon mustard with a sweet dipping sauce. I really recommend anyone to try from their specials menu as I've always had good luck with those.
