From the Owner
Executive Chef and Co-Owner Ella Schmidt was born in Victoria, Caldas Colombia to a German father and Colombian mother. She has spent most of her life cooking in New York City, notably at restaurants such as Il Buco, where pasta became her greatest passion. However, her most profound culinary influence is from Basque Country, where her family has lived for the past 30 years.
