Jackson Heights is becoming known as a bit of a hidden gem of the city; with that comes the discovery of new places to enjoy! Family-owned and operated since 1988, Ricky's Cafe is always packed with folks from the neighborhood and is an incredible place to grab an omelet and listen to the vibrant rhythm of New York.
From the Owner
Ursula grew up in Ricky's Cafe, she watched her aunt and uncle work very hard to make it a success. She made many friends growing up there, found a love of food and sharing with others. She started her first job as a teenager there, went off to apprentice in several different restaurants around manhattan and the country, until finally coming back home.
Ricky's offers a little bit of everything. We offer classic american fare, many vegetarian options and with some Latin options mixed in as well. All of our stuff is made from scratch,which we take great pride in, meaning a lot of extra work for us, but the end result is amazing. We do an awesome Avocado Toast, to a classic Chicken Francese, to a Coconut Curry Chicken. There is much love in our Kitchen.
